The Rural Oncology Conference invites submissions for poster presentations during our dedicated poster presentation session. This is an opportunity to showcase your work, share innovative ideas, and engage with a community committed to improving cancer care in the region.

Who Should Submit?

We encourage abstract submissions from:

  • Medical, nursing, College, and pharmacy students

  • Residents and fellows in training

  • Researchers and clinicians of all levels

  • Public health professionals and community advocates

Suggested Topics for Posters

Poster presentations should align with the theme of rural oncology, oncology, and rural health and may include, but are not limited to:

  • Barriers to cancer care in rural communities

  • Innovative interventions or programs to improve rural cancer outcomes

  • Telehealth and remote care solutions

  • Disparities in cancer prevention, screening, and treatment

  • Rural oncology workforce development

  • Palliative care and survivorship in rural settings

  • Community engagement and advocacy efforts

  • Rural Health

  • General/Community Oncology

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Abstract Length: Maximum 250 words.

Content: Include the title, authors, background, methods, results, and conclusion (if applicable).

Submission Deadline: May 7th 2025.

Submission Process: Submit abstract details online through the submission form.

Presentation Format

Accepted abstracts will be presented as posters during the designated session. Presenters should prepare a visually engaging poster to facilitate discussions with attendees.
